    I wanted to catch up and say “thank you… I really appreciate your ‘follow’ as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.”

    Blogging since June 2013, my aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at basic photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations, opinions and lighter-hearted stuff thrown in for good measure.

    I normally keep to a couple of posts a day, maybe 3-4 at weekends if I have something special to share. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process.

    It must be a crazy time for you, too, but…you’ll survive.

    My blog is a memoir and journal in one. I try to be funny as well, but my flair for drama keeps winning out. Yep, I’m pathetically schmaltzy. 😉

    For now, I’m a bit burned out, and as you may already know, I’ve been hanging around Doobster’s site for weeks now. I like to meet new bloggers, too, and will probably unlock my blog very soon.

    Just to let you know, I like your deep thoughts in Doobs’ blog, which shows another side of you.

      It’s definitely crazy around here, and they are sweet at 6 and 3. Congratulations on getting your kid through the dependency part of his life! You have done well. He went to college, he’s living on his own, and he is (I assume) not selling crack, or pimping out underage girls, so it’s quite apparent that you have been a great Mom!
      There’s nothing wrong with pathetically schmaltzy. I can be that way too, I’m just not ballsy enough to let anybody else see it. Let me know when you feel like opening up your blog. I’d love to see it. I love your writing, I think it’s sweet and quiet, and beautiful.
